Southwest Philly Dip
Very good dipping sandwich full of traditional Philly beef sandwich ingredients. With the choice of sides it was more than I could finish. The tartar sauce I had with my jo Joe's was one of the best tartars I've ever had. All (Everything is) homemade and I highly recommend this for lunch or dinner. I like that you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner anytime of day there too because there's always those times when all those eating with you can't decide on which meal to have.
Classic Monte Cristo
Finding a Monte Cristo in Tacoma is almost a futile challenge. The Homestead is one of the few places and they do it right with classic. Run don't walk to try it.

I had this for the first time and my mouth has never been happier. The flavors mesh perfectly. I'm not a fan of mushrooms and was able to get it without. I didn't know I could have my tastebuds dance like they did. The portion is huge so this lasted me two meals. I will absolutely be getting this again.

This is my go-to menu choice and is always so delicious. I end up taking some home because of how big the serving is and even as left overs it is still good! Homestead is always worth taking your time to go for a meal.
Meatloaf
I have never had a bad meal or experience at the homestead. I am from the south and it is so hard to find the legit feeling and taste of a down home meal and homestead nails it every single time. It has become my go to spot for when i am craving a little bit of home. The staff is amazingly friendly and tentative and the food reminds me of my nana. Thank you for all the great times homestead and i will be visiting again very soon i am sure.
